All events are covered using a combination of Photojournalism hand in hand with traditional portraiture to provide a unique “contemporary-classic” look. During your personal pre-event consultation we ask each individual to give us their vision of how they want their event photographed. We feel that it is ultimately up to the customer to determine how they want their final product to look. Many customers leave this up to us, but we pride ourselves on being flexible and accommodating. This consultation is also the time to discuss black and white photography. Our normal ratio is about 30% black and white and 70% color, but we modify this based upon the needs and preferences of the client.
We use the newest state of the art digital cameras available, arriving at each event with 2 complete Canon EOS 1D’s outfits, an arsenal of “L” series lenses, and enough lighting to shoot virtually anywhere. We always also bring a full set of back-up equipment including flashes, lens, batteries, ect. We prefer Canon Pro Digital Cameras because their image quality is second to none. Moreover because it’s all digital we have the ability to shoot thousands of images at a single event.
